Module I: The Spine in Neutral
The human body is under constant stress. Due to our current society, we do not move our bodies as freely as it was designed for, creating muscular imbalances all over.
These imbalances put us at risk for joint and muscle injuries. Learning how to find, maintain, and move with a neutral spine can rebalance the connective tissues throughout the entire body. This realignment can help awaken inhibited muscles, allowing the body to perform at its best, while decreasing risks of injury, for life.
In this module, a neutral spine is defined and multiple methods of moving with a neutral spine are introduced.
Module II: MOVE in Neutral
This module goes over 30 basic exercises using Vertebar Posture Guide. The Vertebar Posture Guide is the only posture device that allows you to workout while maintaining neutral spine guidance. Teach your body to perform common fitness exercises with a neutral spine. Experience the Vertebar difference by using the guidance of the Vertebar Posture Guide during movement and weighted exercises.
Module III: STRENGTH in Neutral
This module provides a format of strength training while wearing the Vertebar Posture Guide. This fitness format involves combining upper body and lower body exercises. Multiple progressions of each exercise will be provided to ensure maximum results with minimal risk of injury. Completion of this module and practical fulfills requirements to become a Strength in Neutral certified instructor.

SHEENA NADEAU
is a fitness professional for over 15 years, specializing in pain-free movement. Her career is focused on bridging the gap between physical therapy and fitness. Sheena earned both a BA and MA in sports medicine from University of the Pacific in her hometown of Stockton, CA.
She holds many certifications including Pilates, Booty Barre, Yoga Tune Up, Roll Out Method, NESTA Biomechanics Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute, NESTA & NASM personal trainer.
Sheena invented the Vertebar Posture Guide (VPG) in 2013, which was awarded both utility and design patents by 2020. She also created the Neutral Spine Method, a fitness education program to provide movement professionals the science behind using the VPG and how to use it safely with clients.
Sheena enjoys staying active through barre, Pilates, and skateboarding. She grew up playing golf, tennis, softball, and studied Karate and Aikido. Her life mission is to keep aging populations moving, living, and playing pain-free.
